The Search Is Over
...however, no end in sight for the occupation
Bush publicly joked about the absurd possibility that we'd find no WMD's in Iraq. His administration was positive they were there- Rumsfeld stated, "A trained ape knows that!"
Well, we looked, and looked, and although we didn't search through the White House, as depicted in Bush's side-splitting slideshow, the sum total of our WMD find consists of two trucks used to fill weather balloons with hydrogen. The search is over, and the WMD's just aren't there.
Commentary from the Bush administration highlights their aggravating arrogance. Bush's only response to America seems to be a condescending, "Everybody thought the weapons were there", as if the public was privy to the same levels of intelligence that he was, and just as responsible for his command decisions.
