Comedic Stylings of DavidCyrus (situation : critical!)
Next Saturday, I've volunteered to perform a five-to-ten minute comedy routine in a public competition, with nine other would-be comics. The winner will be offered a chance to perform at a real comedy club, at the local Holiday Inn.
I've composed roughly six pages of comedy material, but each time I run through a joke for sample audience members (i.e., my family) they cringe. The most common suggestion has been "Don't plan on blowing them away with your routine..."
At this time, the DavidCyrus Blog is taking any and all suggestions for improvement- forward your best stuff to DavidCyrus's Email.
