Is It Fair To Make Fun of George?Some would call it our duty
Bill Maher can come across quite sarcastic. I prefer Jon Stewart, but Bill's got the right idea with Bush. In a piece called "Mocking Bush is my Patriotic Duty", he sums up the feelings of anti-Bush comedians. It feels good to receive a vicarious pat-on-the-back like this (even if it is a self-served pat).
Book Clearance Efforts
In an all-out attempt to clean out our house in preparation to place it on the market, I am divesting myself of the majority of my personal library. It's hard work! I inadvertently collect books, not as an investor, but as an obsessive/compulsive hoarder. I am sure there are over five hundred books in this house, but I haven't counted them.
Today I removed 53 of them. That took me all day, and I can't imagine unloading another 300. I can't even part with the number of books that George Bush reads in a year!
