Blog Realignment
Less Politics - More Star Trek

I've looked back over past months of entries and noticed: (1) This blog suggests that my interests (and readers' interests) only lie in the political arena. (2) I haven't blogged for about a month now.

I've spent some time commenting on other blog sites, but truthfully, acting like a Progressive journalist is getting old. You either preach to the choir, or you end up banging your head against some mad bugger's wall.

I've noticed that when I do blog, I have typically spent hours crafting what I believe to be an important and unique message, and after surfing to other similar sites, I find that the perspective is not unique, nor is it, in retrospect, all that important to the debates at hand.

Ideally I'd love to blog regularly, and provide meaningful messages that appeal to my own tastes, as well as entertain/inform thousands of readers. But it'll never happen.

This blog is a diary, a collection of passing thoughts, that are occasionally read by a few others. If my records of past emails are any indication, my writing skills appear to be more in the realm of comedy than political discourse.

So, here's the new direction: More Fun and Less Debate. We'll take stock in a few weeks to see if this plan works.
